Leaving Las Vegas

My wife is asleep in her seat as we summit through Temecula. And now we are sliding down the 15 at 75mph heading home from a weekend binge in Vegas.

I love Vegas. And, yes, I know there are many people who make this claim, but I have traveled to Vegas at least 50 times in the last decade. I will be there again before the year is out. However, returning to Coronado reminds me of what paradise truly is. My favorite moment is when the first specks of light on the bridge start to pop up in my view as I close in on Cezar Chavez Parkway. Crossing over the bridge, onto Orange Avenue, finally home!

As a two year long Coronado resident and thirty one year San Diego resident I feel it is not only my pleasure, but my responsibility to share some of my ideas, memories, experiences, and recommendations about Coronado. Whether you live here, visit here, have heard about the island, plan on visiting, or simply are interested in learning more, please allow my blog to act as the voice of Coronado Island. Thank you for visiting. I promise to put my readers first.
